• Provide expert-level hardware support for Onto Innovation tools through remote support or on-site assistance
• Develop and communicate plans of action and results to internal and external customers
• Drive improvements in product support structure through documentation and feedback to design engineers
• Train Field Service Engineers on the job and provide input during New Product Development
• Support documentation development and qualification criteria during New Product Introduction

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Field Support Service
• BS in an electronics discipline or equivalent military experience in a technical field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products and strong troubleshooting background
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally with a current Visa or entry permission
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

• Experience working in a cleanroom environment
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes
• Previous experience in customer-facing roles within the technology sector
• Ability to lift and move components or diagnostic equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
