- Develop technical documentation including marine electric distribution and control system drawings
- Conduct technical analysis and support for electrical power loads and control systems troubleshooting
- Provide engineering services in specification writing, system design communication, and technical document preparation
- Plan, design, develop, and evaluate electrical systems and components for naval vessels
- Collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams to achieve engineering objectives
- BS/BSE in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar STEM degree
- Strong understanding of fundamental electrical engineering concepts including 3-phase AC/DC and control system theory
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software for drafting detailed system drawings
- Ability to work effectively in teams and communicate technical information clearly
- Experience with US Navy/MSC/USCG and/or ABS design standards
- Shipboard operations and/or shipyard design experience
- Familiarity with industry-standard engineering design and modeling software, including NAVISWORKS
- NAVSEA 05 or operational experience in Marine Systems
- Experience with Navy Surface Ships Main Propulsion Systems or related naval experience
- Active Secret Clearance
