Policy Specialist

• Support the development and writing of policies and related materials to direct work processes
• Consult with policy owners, stakeholders, legal experts, and labor relations specialists to draft and edit policy language
• Facilitate client interactions in meetings and through individual communication channels
• Assist the task lead with coordination, scheduling, and administrative duties
• Track task progress and ensure compliance with implementation plans and stakeholder expectations

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in policy, management, business, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years consulting experience
• Minimum of 5 years supporting operations for a government agency
• Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written

• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with a “client first” attitude
• Strong organizational skills and an understanding of project management best practices
• Ability to balance competing priorities and exhibit flexibility based on changing client needs
