Operations Support Representative II

• Conduct in-depth research regarding patients’ self-pay, insurance, and bad debt balances
• Explain policies and procedures effectively and refer accounts for proper resolution
• Review and interpret patient statements and client contractual terms as needed
• Assist and resolve patient inquiries and requests within a 24‑48 hour period
• Maintain knowledge of various insurance payor processes and relevant regulations

• Minimum of 2 years of billing experience
• Basic knowledge of EOBs, CPT & ICD-9/10 codes, HCFAs, UB04s, HCPCS, DRGs, and authorizations/referrals
• Proficiency in EPIC and HIPAA regulations
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and accomplish goals

• Experience working with insurance payors and understanding their processes
• Familiarity with patient/client follow‑up efforts
• Knowledge of contractual and administrative adjustments
