Senior Laboratory Quality Specialist

• Oversee quality assurance in hospital and clinical laboratories across multiple locations
• Develop, write, review, and update laboratory procedures as needed
• Assist laboratory leadership in preparing for inspections related to accreditation
• Use statistical analysis to measure the success of the quality program elements
• Actively participate in committees and task forces to implement departmental initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or a related science
• Minimum of five years of laboratory experience in a hospital or clinic setting
• National certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Histotechnologist (HTL), or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS)
• Licensure by the North Dakota Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice, if applicable
• Maintenance of continuing education credits for license and certification requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with quality management methods and tools
• Familiarity with laboratory safety training and education
