• Provide coding and industry expertise to create and maintain clinical coding edits
• Conduct research to identify opportunities for new medical policies
• Review and update medical policies to ensure accuracy and currency in the policy library
• Collaborate with Client Teams to address inquiries and challenges regarding medical policies
• Create and maintain documentation for the employer's medical policy library

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent experience; CPC or equivalent coding certification required if no degree
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical coding experience, preferably in a payer setting
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to analyze complex data and synthesize it for various audiences
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

• Experience in internet-based research related to coding (CPT, HCPCS, ICD, or NDC)
• Familiarity with claims payment and reimbursement methodologies as well as medical policy rules and edits
• Experience with databases and data manipulation
• Ability to manage timelines and multiple projects with high accuracy
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
