Pay: $2,167.20/week
Completion Bonus: $1,700 per contract (up to $5,100 after three contracts)
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in an acute care hospital setting. The RN will provide intermediate-level care using the nursing process, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and support patients requiring stepdown or telemetry-level monitoring. Weekend and on-call schedules are determined by the unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide PCU/stepdown-level nursing care
- Apply the nursing process to patient assessment and care planning
- Monitor patients requiring intermediate and telemetry care
- Administer medications and treatments
- Educate patients and family members
- Document care in the medical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Support safe care transitions and discharge planning
- Acute care hospital experience required
- Minimum 24 months current PCU/IMCU/Telemetry/Stepdown experience required
- PCU, IMCU, Telemetry, or Stepdown background accepted
- Oregon RN license not required at submission but must be willing to obtain
- BLS certification (AHA) required (may obtain before start)
- ACL S certification (AHA) required (may obtain before start)
- Discipline-specific skills checklist required
