What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Conduct independent review and analysis of submissions and inquiries related to conflicts of interest
  • Serve as a liaison and subject‑matter expert between the Conflict of Interest program and other departments
  • Develop and implement training and communication strategies for the research community
  • Provide technical input on policy development and advise on compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives for research integrity operations
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Four years of related experience, or 8 years of relevant experience for internal applicants in lieu of a degree
  • Working knowledge of federal and state laws relating to conflict of interest
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced proficiency with electronic systems and software
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Advanced degree or additional training in bioethics, health, law, or a related scientific discipline
  • Experience in research compliance
  • Advanced proficiency with the employer’s electronic databases for tracking compliance submissions
  • Demonstrated leadership and influence skills
  • In‑depth knowledge of federal and state regulations related to research
