• Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable workflow, including billing, payment posting, and claim resolution
• Conduct detailed reviews of denied or underpaid claims and prepare persuasive appeal letters
• Communicate with insurance carriers to resolve outstanding issues and maintain relationships with payer representatives
• Apply federal and state regulations impacting reimbursement and resolve EDI rejections and claim edits
• Utilize automation tools and AI-enabled processes to improve productivity and streamline follow-up

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of medical billing, claims, or accounts receivable experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including vlookups and pivot tables
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience in behavioral health, home care, long-term care, or similar clinical billing environments
• Prior healthcare collections or reimbursement experience
• Familiarity with medical billing platforms such as Medic, IDX, or similar systems
• Exposure to automation or AI-supported work streams in revenue cycle operations
