Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Role: The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides direct rehabilitative care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing facility setting.

• Implement and follow individualized physical therapy treatment plans for patients.
• Assist patients in achieving functional goals and improving quality of life.
• Accurately document patient progress and utilize therapy software.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in community health initiatives and maintain professional relationships.
• Ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with regulations.
• Assist in emergency evacuations and maintain dependable attendance.

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT).
• Current licensure or registration in applicable state; CPR certified.
• Preferred one year of experience; new graduates welcome.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and communication skills.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in post-acute care.
• Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and good judgment.
