Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides direct rehabilitative care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in a skilled nursing facility environment.

• Following and implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Charting patient progress accurately and timely
• Utilizing therapy software effectively
• Assisting in patient transfers and evacuations when necessary
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintaining patient rights, safety, and confidentiality
• Adhering to all legal, regulatory, and facility policies and procedures

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program
• Active licensure or registration in applicable state
• CPR certification required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
• Good communication, professionalism, and teamwork skills
• Ability to make independent decisions and demonstrate good body mechanics
