Job Summary: This role will work closely with leaders in an assigned region to align People practices with business objectives, drive team member engagement, and support organizational growth. This role will lead HR Processes, manage Employee Relations and investigations, and play a crucial role in continuous improvement, change management and communication.
What you’ll be doing- Strategic Partnership
- Develop a deep understanding of Movement’s overall goals and objectives and how that translates to regions, departments, and/or gyms
- Partner with leaders in the assigned regions to ensure effective people practices are in place to support business objectives and enhance team member engagement
- Identify and implement people strategies and plans that align with and support organizational goals
- HR Process Leadership
- Oversee and lead core HR processes for assigned regions.
- Performance management: providing guidance and support to managers with feedback, disciplinary actions and improvement plans to ensure Team Member’s performance is effectively monitored, addressed and improved
- Compensation planning: partner with local leadership to ensure compensation practices and pay rates are aligned and compliant with minimum wage requirements
- Talent assessment and development
- Team member engagement survey and action planning
- Change Management
- Partner with leaders and cross-functional teams to assist with change management initiatives
- Ensure effective communication, training, feedback loops, and measurement strategies are in place for key change initiatives
- Employee Relations
- Partner with leaders to manage employee relations matters quickly, efficiently, and consistently
- Manage complaints and lead investigative processes
- Ensure consistent interpretation and application of HR policies and practices across the organization
- Support leave/accommodation requests in a timely and confidential manner
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of people operations and practices
- Implement and monitor the effectiveness of new HR initiatives and programs
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 10+ years of experience with increasing responsibility in HR or similar strategic role
- Labor relations experience preferred
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Proven ability to partner with senior leadership and drive organizational change
- Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Proficiency in HRIS and HR analytics and ability to leverage data insights to inform decisions
- P/SPHR or SHRM-S/CP certification preferred
- Remote role preferably based in one of the following locations with ability to travel to gyms on a periodic basis (OR, CA, CO, DFW - TX, IL, NY, PA, VA/MD/DC Metro). Estimated travel is less than 15%.

Compensation: This is salaried, exempt role. Pay range starts at $90,000 annually and is dependent on skills, experience, and location.
