Payroll Systems Specialist

• Apply payroll and timekeeping expertise to optimize software solutions with minimal supervision
• Maintain and configure payroll and timekeeping systems for internal teams and affiliated sites
• Generate ad-hoc queries to support organizational objectives and assist leadership in decision-making
• Conduct training sessions on payroll processes for internal and affiliated participants, both in-person and virtually
• Collaborate with payroll leadership on change management and communication related to payroll topics

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree, or five years of applicable work experience in lieu of a degree
• Generally requires three years of related experience in payroll and timekeeping systems
• Familiarity with collective bargaining agreements and their impact on payroll solutions
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong analytical and mathematical skills

• Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation
• Experience with payroll system implementation and upgrades
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to adapt training based on audience needs
• Positive attitude and willingness to embrace change
• Experience in a healthcare-related environment
