Position Overview:

By Light is looking for a new Maximo Trainer to join the VA EAWM Team.

The Maximo Trainer must have experience in coordinating multiple training programs, conducting live training, including complex IT technical training and utilizing multiple training techniques and tools with various media with multiple student skill levels and class sizes.

Responsibilities
  • As part of the VA EAWM Team, provide virtual instructor-led training on end user facing Maximo Enterprise Asset and Work Management (EAWM) in the form of Training Webinars, which will be recorded and delivered to the Government’s chosen training library. Training will be conducted virtually may include Brown Bag sessions, One-on-One sessions, or Classes.
  • Typical Job

    Duties include:
    • Support 38 VAMC/HCS across the nation with visibility into 5 functional communities at each facility. In addition, Maximo has been deployed to VACO.
    • Connected Health, and VA Office of Inspector General (OIG).
    • Support the training needs will vary by approximately 22 Maximo roles which are currently responsible for performing the business processes supported by the current Maximo EAWM solution.
    • Deliver electronic updates to existing Training Plan as required.
    • Deliver electronic updates to existing Training Materials as required.
    • Documents include but may not be limited to:
      User Guides, Quick Reference Documents (QRD) Job Aids, Self-Paced Course, How-To Videos and existing Web Based Training (WBT) documents.
  • Work with VA Help Desk staff to identify common user issues and questions that will be addressed in future training sessions.
Required Experience/Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree; 8 relevant years of experience can be substituted for degree
  • 10+ years' revelant experience
Special Requirements /Security Clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
