Senior Software Engineer, macOS

• Collaborate with a globally distributed team of system and kernel developers
• Research and identify emerging issues in macOS and provide appropriate responses
• Work closely with Product, Support, Sales, R&D, and Quality Assurance teams
• Respond to field events, root cause them, and issue patches as needed
• Participate in design decisions for improving agent architecture and developing new features

• Minimum of 4+ years of software development experience, specifically on macOS
• Strong proficiency in coding with Objective-C
• Understanding of macOS user space and internals
• Experience in systematically root‑causing complex OS systems

• Experience developing OS drivers and system extensions
• Background in managing escalations or issues requiring coordinated efforts
• Familiarity with system performance analysis and mitigations
• Cybersecurity experience or exposure to macOS endpoint security platforms
• Experience with large‑scale event processing systems
