Our client is currently seeking a qualified Scrum Master to join their team and provide end-user support. This role is remote in the EST time zone and the ideal candidate must be located there. Strong preference for candidates located in Atlanta, GA / Charlotte or Raleigh, NC.
Duties and Responsibilities- Enable transparency, flow, and continuous improvement in multiple initiatives at once
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, reviews, retros)
- Proactively identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder team progress
- Coach the team on Scrum and agile best practices
- Protect the team from distractions and scope creep
- Help improve team performance and flow over time
- Guide agile teams in adopting the Scrum framework to maximize productivity and deliver high-quality products
- Foster a self-organizing and high-performing team environment
- Educate the team and organization on Scrum principles, agile values, and best practices
- Act as a liaison between the team, Product Owner, and stakeholders to ensure goal alignment
- Promote continuous improvement and help the team maintain high velocity
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum)
- Minimum 5+ years of working as a Project Manager/Scrum Master within enterprise environment
- Experienced using Service Now, AWS, and Microsoft knowledge while using Rally (Agile Tool)
- Scrum Master Certification not required but preferred
- Previous Bank industry experience not required but preferred
- Prior PM / Scrum experience (proven track record)
- Excellent / top tier communication skills
The rate for this position is between $54.00 - $79.20 per hour
, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
