Job Title:
Senior MS SQL Server DBA (12+ Years Experience)
We are seeking an experienced Senior MS SQL Server DBA with 12+ years of HANDS-ON experience in managing, administering, optimizing, and securing enterprise-level SQL Server environments. The candidate should have strong expertise in performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, cloud migration, and automation.
Key Responsibilities:Database Administration
- Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Microsoft SQL Server (2008–2022).
- Manage multiple SQL Server instances in production, QA, and development environments.
- Perform database provisioning, schema management, and capacity planning.
- Monitor database health, performance, and availability.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks (CPU, memory, I/O, blocking, deadlocks).
- Optimize queries, indexes, execution plans, and database design.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for database-related incidents.
- Implement performance monitoring tools (SQL Profiler, Extended Events, DMVs
