• Own the Onboarding & KYC platform end-to-end, ensuring integration with adjacent products and services
• Architect the next generation platform by modernizing legacy systems into a scalable geo-specific architecture
• Set technical vision and standards, driving domain abstraction and expanding the platform for new offerings
• Design for high availability and operational integrity while modernizing critical identity flows
• Mentor staff engineers and promote engineering excellence and best practices

• 12+ years of backend engineering experience with proven technical leadership on mission-critical platforms
• Strong system design and coding ability, with experience operating high-availability services
• Demonstrated success in migrating legacy systems to modern architectures with minimal downtime
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, reliability, and operational rigor
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to align with senior stakeholders

• Experience in Identity, Authentication/Authorization, Onboarding, KYC, Fraud/Risk, or Compliance platforms
• Interest in the impact of AI on identity/onboarding workflows and experience integrating AI into systems
• Background in fast-paced, high-growth internet/software environments
