Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Now Technical Lead/ Architect to oversee the development, customization, and integration of Service Now applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead a team of developers.
Key Responsibilities- Platform Management: Oversee the administration and maintenance of the Service Now platform, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Custom Application Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom applications on the Service Now platform.
- Integration: Manage and implement integrations between Service Now and other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and other integration tools.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of developers, ensuring best practices and high-quality code.
- Project Management: Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects, meeting all requirements and specifications.
- Stakeholder
Collaboration:
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions. - Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Service Now platform.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Service Now development.
- Technical
Skills:- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
- Strong understanding of Service Now modules, including ITSM and CSM.
- Experience with Service Now integration using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
- Certifications: Service Now Certified System Administrator, Service Now Certified Application Developer, or other relevant certifications.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
- Previous experience in a technical lead role.
