Position: AI Project & Operations Lead (Student Role)

Department Overview

WiscAI is a fast-moving studio building AI-powered products across consumer applications and B2B solutions. We operate in an AI-first workflow environment, using modern tools to accelerate development, coordination, and decision-making. This role supports the internal Project Command Center that tracks projects, documentation, and execution across multiple initiatives. You will work closely with leadership and builders to maintain visibility, accountability, and alignment.

Anticipated Hours Per Week: 10-15

Schedule:

15+ hours per week. Flexible schedule with at least one standing weekly check-in. The ideal candidate has some flexibility in their availability, including occasional responsiveness outside of rigid time blocks when needed to keep projects moving and avoid delays.

Salary/Wage Range/Lump Sum: $20.00

Qualifications
  • Junior or Senior undergraduate student preferred.
  • GPA 3.0+ required.
  • Demonstrated leadership, coordination, research, or internship experience is a plus.
  • Strong written communication skills required.
  • Comfort with digital tools and willingness to learn AI-assisted workflows.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
  • Excellent written communication skills; able to summarize discussions clearly and concisely.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
  • Comfortable identifying blockers early and following up consistently.
  • Quick learner who is willing to learn new tools, systems, and workflows; open to feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Familiar with modern productivity tools and comfortable learning new tools, including AI tools.
  • Able to determine when to escalation issues and when to make forward progress independently.
  • Works well with technical and non-technical team members in a dynamic environment.
Position Summary /

Job Duties

As the AI Studio Project & Operations Lead, you will act as an extension of leadership’s operational bandwidth. Your job is to ensure that:
Decisions are captured clearly, Next steps are visible, Deadlines are tracked, Builders stay aligned, Nothing important falls through the cracks. You will help translate high-level discussions into structured action plans and maintain visibility across ongoing initiatives.
