Senior Director Product Management

Overview

The Senior Director Product Management is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of a product portfolio for Cotiviti. This position will lead and mentor a team of product managers and analysts, collaborating cross‑functionally with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success to deliver innovative solutions that meet market demands and business objectives. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional leadership, a customer‑centric mindset, and a track record of successful product lifecycle management.

• Define and communicate the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company objectives
• Lead, mentor, and scale a product management team, fostering a high‑performing and collaborative culture
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive product innovation and differentiation
• Oversee the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, from ideation and development through launch and continuous improvements
• Set and measure key product metrics to evaluate success and inform future decisions
• Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless delivery of high‑quality products
• Serve as the voice of the customer and industry thought leader both internally and externally
• Influence executive leadership, presenting business cases and gaining buy‑in for strategic initiatives
• Ensure efficient use of resources, managing product budgets and timelines, to get products released on schedule
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the product development process
• Hire, develop, coach, lead and retain top‑tier talent, with a focus on building and improving a team and culture that is able to employ best‑in‑class practices to support and drive high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction
• Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting
• Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 12+ years of progressive experience in product management within software or other high‑tech industry, including 5+ years in a leadership role; healthcare technology experience preferred
• Proven ability to develop and launch successful software products in B2B and/or B2C markets
• Demonstrated experience building, leading, and mentoring high‑performing product teams
• Deep understanding of agile product development methodologies
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform product decisions
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and presentation skills
• Experience managing cross‑functional teams and complex projects
• Strategic thinking with a bias for action, and a customer‑obsessed approach
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
