• Develop and implement strategic communications plans to enhance brand reputation and growth
• Identify and lead media relations opportunities to strengthen brand presence locally and nationally
• Manage agency relationships to ensure timely and quality deliverables
• Oversee the creation of external materials, including press releases and media kits
• Provide media training and develop preparation strategies for key spokespeople

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in media relations with a focus on strategic communication
• Strong knowledge of Associated Press Style and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrated experience in executing media strategies, particularly in crisis communication scenarios
• Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence diverse audiences

• Health care communications experience
• Expertise in managing media agencies and executing large‑scale media campaigns
• Extensive experience with social media strategy and digital communication platforms
• Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills under pressure
