• Cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of 120-150 major and principal gift prospects with a capacity to give $25K to $1M annually
• Maintain a list of top prospects and establish development plans for each
• Collaborate with Alumni Affairs to engage alumni chapters and implement best fundraising practices
• Partner with the Planned Giving Office and Research, Grants, and Foundation Relations team to secure planned gifts and grants
• Participate in advancement activities and regional events, including dinners and alumni events, often requiring evening and weekend work

• 7+ years of professional experience in fundraising, sales, or a related field
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and fundraising goals
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision

• 10+ years of success in fundraising at a major and/or principal gift level, preferably in higher education or a nonprofit environment
