POSITION SUMMARY    Within the scope of practice defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, the Clinic Triage Registered Nurse provides comprehensive clinical assessment, triage, care coordination, and patient education in an outpatient cardiology clinic setting. This role serves as a key clinical resource for patients, providers, and the interdisciplinary care team by conducting in-person and telephonic nurse visits, responding to symptom-based triage, and facilitating timely access to care, testing, medications, and follow-up services.
The Clinic Triage RN applies the nursing process to evaluate patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and support continuity of care across the healthcare continuum. This position emphasizes proactive patient management, clinical decision-making, interdisciplinary collaboration, and navigation of healthcare services to optimize patient outcomes, safety, and experience.

* ** American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) – current at time of hire

* Outpatient Clinic experience preferred
