Travel Registered Nurse (RN)- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Nights)

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN)- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a 8-week travel assignment i n Coos Bay, OR .

Nights 12 hr/Must be able to float to MCU/PSU/APU as needed
Start Date: 9/15/2026
Contract: 8 Weeks
Hourly Pay: $ 28.00
Non-taxed Stipend: $ 994.00
Weekly Total Pay: $1750.00
Weekend Requirements:
Weekend schedule to be determined by facility
On Call Requirements:
On call schedule to be determined by facility
Non-billable hours: 16 hours

Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach patients and significant others. Documents patient care in the medical record
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient
Continuous evaluation and monitoring of patients for signs of recovery or worsening of their condition
Changing dressings, starting IV lines and inserting catheters
Preparing medical equipment and maintaining supplies to be ready for immediate use
Administering medication as directed by a physician or within the nurses’ own schedule of drugs
Accurately reporting on patients’ progress to the other members of the care team, as well as to families and medical decision-makers
Assisting doctors with monitoring and with bedside procedures performed in the progressive care unit

Compensation:

Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements

Must have must have acute care hospital experience
must have 24 months minimum of current Intermediate/Progressive Care Unit experience
Facility would consider a candidate with PCU/IMCU/Telemetry/Stepdown experience
Certifications don’t need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain
OR license don’t need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain
ACLS (AHA) certification is needed
Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills , professionalism, and reliability
Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
