Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Evening/Mid Shift

• Apply the nursing process to the care of patients within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
• Educate patients and significant others regarding care, treatment, and health management
• Accurately document patient care and clinical findings in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall patient care

• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience required
• Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years required
• Active or ability to obtain Oregon RN license prior to start
• BLS certification (AHA) required or willingness to obtain
• ACLS certification (AHA) required or willingness to obtain
• TNCC and PALS (AHA) certifications required or willingness to obtain

• Experience working in a comprehensive acute care hospital environment serving patients of all ages
• Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols across pediatric and adult patient populations

• Work at a full-service regional medical center offering a broad range of specialty services including emergency medicine, oncology, obstetrics, and more
• Access to an on-site Employee Health department staffed by a Nurse Practitioner serving employees and their dependents
