What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Assist in internal process/technical audits and document results to identify trends within labs
  • Develop and modify policies, procedures, and training modules based on audit outcomes
  • Review quotes for technical accuracy and collaborate with Contracts/Sales/Marketing for large jobs
  • Manage vendor qualifications, audits, and corrective actions to ensure compliance with standards
  • Perform internal and vendor audits, including technical audits of calibrated instruments
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of five years of related experience and/or training
  • Familiarity with various standards and CFRs such as ISO
    9001, ISO/IEC
    17025, and 21

    CFR regulations
  • Ability to perform internal technical audits and manage corrective actions
  • Formal technical training, such as PMEL or TMDE, is desirable
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in vendor management and calibration sources negotiation
  • Familiarity with audit processes and compliance requirements in calibration services
  • Strong technical writing skills for creating policies and procedures
