Position: Mid Market Account Executive, SLED (PNW)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Sell security solutions to State, Local, and Education (SLED) agencies, aiming to exceed annual recurring revenue quotas
  • Manage accounts from initial conversations through contract signing and upselling opportunities
  • Prospect and generate new business to ensure a robust sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to facilitate timely renewals and expansion sales
  • Maintain accurate documentation and data across all sales systems
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience in prospecting and closing SLED accounts
  • Proven track record of successfully closing new accounts and growing existing customer accounts
  • Strong negotiation skills with large organizations and experience in closing complex sales
  • Demonstrated over-quota performance or ranking in the top 5% of the sales organization
  • Technical competency in areas such as security, email, cloud, and AI
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience selling subscription software/SaaS to CISOs and security personnel
  • Background in a startup environment with success in building territory and partnerships
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
