What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Sell security solutions to State, Local, and Education (SLED) agencies to exceed new annual recurring revenue quotas
  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities within accounts to maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure timely renewals and identify expansion sale opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation across all sales systems, including Salesforce
  • Act as a customer advocate with internal teams to prioritize solutions that drive revenue growth
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of 2+ years of direct sales experience prospecting and closing SLED accounts
  • Proven track record of success in closing new accounts and growing existing customer relationships
  • Strong negotiation skills with large organizations and experience in closing complex sales
  • Consistent over-quota performance and/or being in the top 5% of the sales organization
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in cybersecurity software sales, particularly selling subscription software/SaaS to CISOs and security personnel
  • Background in start-up environments or early-stage companies with limited resources
  • Technical competency in areas such as security, email, cloud, and AI
