What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified prospects in target market segments
  • Hunt, develop, and sign new customers, achieving annual contract values of $5M - $8M
  • Lead sales pursuits, defining win criteria and ensuring competitive solutions

    Interface with major customers to meet or exceed performance expectations
  • Track prospective customer information using  and support marketing activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven outside sales success, with at least five years in the transportation sector
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business, or a related field
  • Ability to sell at least $5M in annual contract value
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM/sales automation applications
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
  • Recent experience with final mile delivery and a network of shipper contacts in the sector
  • Formally trained in strategic selling methodologies
  • Strong background in sales presentations and successful closing techniques
  • Creative and resourceful approach to problem-solving in a team environment
