Position: Mid Market Account Executive, SLED (North Central)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Sell security solutions to State, Local, and Education (SLED) agencies, aiming to exceed annual recurring revenue quotas
  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities within accounts to maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with customer success teams to ensure timely renewals and identify expansion opportunities
  • Maintain accurate documentation and data within sales systems (Salesforce, Highspot, Close Plan)
  • Act as a customer advocate with internal teams to prioritize initiatives that drive revenue growth
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Minimum 2+ years of direct sales experience in prospecting and closing SLED accounts
  • Proven track record of closing new accounts and growing existing customer relationships
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating with large organizations and handling complex sales
  • Experience in cybersecurity software sales, particularly subscription software/SaaS
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience in early-stage companies or start‑ups, particularly in competitive environments
  • Familiarity with security, email, cloud, and AI technologies
