Sr. Software Engineer - FACETS Application/.net/C#

The Sr. Software Engineer will be working on the Optum Care Strategic Platform (Facets) and is responsible for delivering large and more complex components, while influencing overall Architecture, patterns and drives/promotes reusability and AI Utilization. The candidate also performs a variety of complicated tasks including production support and troubleshooting.

• Be able to understand the Facets Delivery, Client priority and requirements
• Proven Good in adapting & adopting new technology footprints to optimize business solutions using AI Adoption.
• Applies knowledge of principles and techniques to solve technical problems
• Be able to translate the business requirements/functional design to modern technical solutions.
• Be able to work on EDI transactions like 837 and 835.
• Be able to contribute in Dev Ops, CI/CD and other engineering forums
• Be able to design, develop solutions using C#.NET, API, Kafka, SQL, Angular JS in Azure Platform.
• Actively engaged as a Lead/Technical SME for the team and able to lead small teams of engineers.
• Mentor software engineers through code reviews, and hands‑on design sessions and assist with problem solving related to complex bugs and issues.
• Unblocks the team when they're blocked
• Delivers solutions devoid of significant security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and work in all Agile mechanisms.
• Responsible for all aspects of delivery (detailed design, coding, unit, performance and integration test, automation, and deployment) and the timeline for speed to market
• Develop innovative approaches on performance optimization & automation
• Provide timely updates on tasks to reporting supervisor
• Develop and maintain standards, common processes and best practices as per Industry standards
• Adherence to the defined SLA Compliance etc
• Delivers solutions devoid of significant security vulnerabilities.
• Provide support and leadership in critical production support issue resolution
• Work with team to achieve timely resolution of all production issues meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional claims ops, architecture, and engineering teams.

• 10+ years overall IT experience
• 5+ years of experience in Facets Claims domain.
• 5+ years of development and testing experience in C# / .Net programming language
• 5+ years of Senior level Applications Developer experience
• 5+ years Database Design/Programming
• 2+ years of Agile experience

• AI Development experience
• Good understanding around Claims pricing, errors, edits, adjustments & payments
• Tri Zetto Facets Application experience
• Healthcare EDI Experience
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops, Kubernetes & Docker
