• Design, build, and own core UI platform systems used across all frontend surfaces
• Drive improvements in reliability, performance, and latency at the platform level
• Build and evolve backend-for-frontend APIs (REST/Graph
  
  QL) that serve UI surfaces
• Lead architecture and technical directions for improvements to real-time data streams
• Partner closely with frontend engineers and product teams to address scaling challenges

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering
• Proven experience in architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous problems
• Strong passion for building an open financial system that unites the world

• Experience in a rapidly growing company (from 10 to hundreds of engineers)
• Familiarity with Blockchains such as Bitcoin and Ethereum
• Experience decomposing a large monolith into microservices
• Proficiency in Golang, Ruby, Docker, Sinatra, Rails, and Postgres
• Background in building financial, high-reliability, or security systems
