SUMMARY

PL Developments, also known as PLD, is a leading manufacturer, packager, and distributor of over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical products and consumer healthcare goods.

PL Developments is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in a high-impact role spanning One Stream administration, financial reporting, and FP&A. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining our One Stream environment, preparing internal and external financial statement packages, and partnering across the organization on month-end close, allocations, consolidations, and ad hoc analysis. The ideal candidate brings strong technical One Stream skills, GAAP knowledge, and the drive to continuously improve our reporting infrastructure.

SCHEDULE

Monday‑Friday (Hybrid, 3 days in office / 2 days home)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3‑5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A.
  • Must have hands‑on One Stream administration experience – both developing new functionality and maintaining the production system.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statement preparation (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Demonstrated experience preparing financial statement packages for internal leadership and external stakeholders (lenders, bondholders, auditors).
  • Advanced Excel skills (complex models, lookups, pivot tables, large‑data manipulation).
  • Experience with Alteryx or similar workflow / data‑prep tools, preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP, preferred.
  • Manufacturing or CPG industry experience, preferred.
  • Strong team player – demonstrates flexibility, maintains a professional approach, collaborates effectively, and consistently gets things done.
  • Driven and self‑motivated – takes ownership of deliverables, meets deadlines, and proactively looks for ways to improve processes.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES One Stream Administration & Development
  • Serve as one of the primary administrators of the One Stream platform – owning development, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the system.
  • Build, enhance, and maintain metadata, hierarchies, dimensions, cube views, dashboards, business rules, workflows, data integrations, and security.
  • Develop new functionality to support evolving FP&A, consolidation, and reporting needs (allocations, GL mapping, headcount, capex, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot system and user issues, access, security, system upgrades, patches, and source‑system integrations.
  • Document processes, train end users, and drive adoption of One Stream as the single source of truth.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly internal financial statement packages, including consolidated P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and supporting schedules.
  • Prepare external reporting packages for lenders and bondholders, including the ABL Certificate, MD&A files, and other compliance deliverables.
  • Support quarterly bondholder reporting and ad hoc lender requests with accurate, well‑supported analysis.
Month‑End Close & GAAP Reporting
  • Own key month‑end close deliverables: trial balance review, GAAP mapping, ICO balancing entries, gross profit split, allocations, and consolidation/mapping files.
  • Apply strong GAAP knowledge to ensure accurate financial statement presentation and proper accounting treatment.
Budget, Forecast & FP&A Support
  • Prepare analytics on department spend review – analysing spending patterns, and identifying actionable insights to support department heads in budget and forecast planning.
  • Prepares forecast and budget inputs, upload templates, and ad hoc analyses.
Cross‑Functional Partnership & Process Improvement
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including expanding Alteryx workflows to replace manual efforts.
  • Partner closely with the broader Finance and Accounting team – providing support as needed across systems, reporting, reconciliations, and ad hoc requests to ensure the team delivers as one.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Primarily office‑based work with occasional visits to manufacturing areas (PPE required).
  • Ability to lift, up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Occasional walking, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Use of hands and arms to reach for and handle objects.
