Accounting Manager

Rencata has partnered with a rapidly growing organization that is looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team due to growth. This is not a “keep the seat warm” type of role. They want someone who genuinely takes ownership, leads from the front, and becomes a true business partner to the organization.

This opportunity is ideal for someone coming from a strong public accounting foundation who also thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.

• Managing day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, reconciliations, financial reporting, and close processes
• Leading month-end and year-end close to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across multiple entities
• Reviewing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Assisting with preparation of financial statements and executive-level reporting packages
• Partnering cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to improve processes and drive efficiencies
• Supporting audit preparation, external auditors, and compliance requirements
• Monitoring internal controls and helping strengthen accounting procedures and reporting accuracy
• Assisting with cash flow reporting, forecasting support, and variance analysis
• Helping oversee AP/AR activities and ensuring operational accounting functions run smoothly
• Driving process improvements and helping build scalable accounting practices as the company continues to grow
• Working within ERP systems and helping optimize reporting and accounting workflows
• Mentoring and collaborating with accounting team members while helping foster a strong team environment
• Taking ownership of problems, identifying solutions proactively, and acting as a true business partner to leadership

• CPA required or strongly preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
• Big 4 public accounting background highly preferred
• Additional experience within SaaS, telecom, or recurring revenue environments is a major plus
• Experience with in private equity-backed or high-growth organizations preferred
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience
