Staff Accountant

Overview

Staff Accountant position in Dallas with growth opportunities and competitive salary. Jobot is the hosting company for this role.

• Compile and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger through the preparation and posting of complex journal entries.
• Perform complex reconciliations of various accounts (e.g., bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, intercompany transactions) and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in month-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with ASC 842 lease accounting standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Knowledge of ASC 842 lease accounting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
