Senior Accountant, Coppell (110K-115K+Bonus

A fast growing SAAS organization in Coppell, TX is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations, improve processes, and supervise a Staff Accountant. This role focuses on optimizing accounts payable, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and strengthening internal controls.

This is a great opportunity and the company has a plan to grow this role to a manager within 12 months.

This position pays 110K-115K+15% Bonus. This company has a great culture and offers lots of flexibility.

Responsibilities:

• Manage general accounting functions, including AP, AR, and general ledger.
• Lead month-end close and financial reporting processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including automation.
• Mentor and develop junior staff.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Support audits and prepare financial documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Public accounting experience is highly desirable
• Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
