Position: Bilingual Employment Coordinator (Coppell, TX) - Austin Bridge & Road

Austin Bridge & Road is looking for a Spanish Bilingual Employment Coordinator to join our Coppell, TX office. The purpose of this job is to assist in the coordination and administration of applicants through the employment office. Greet and assist candidates in the application process and pre‑employment assessments. Responsible for verifying work history, any certifications, and informing candidate of manpower needs relative to their craft.

Responsible for initiating the hire in process upon job offer made by recruiter and ensuring all paperwork is complete and accurate. Responsible for preparing office for business opening and ensuring employment office area is ready for incoming individuals.

Responsibilities
  • Greet candidates in the lobby, control flow of traffic, assist with applications and pre‑employment assessments
  • Inform applicants of manpower needs relative to their craft, verify work history, pre‑employment assessment results and craft certifications, and refer qualifying candidates to recruiters
  • Maintain employee‑owners records including I-9 form, W4 form, and employee‑owner related documents, ensure all forms are filled out correctly
  • Communicate the status of the employee‑owner to recruitment by updating the applicant management database and sending out status notifications, as needed
  • Assist recruiters and People Department with various administrative tasks, as needed
  • Provide ad hoc reports to People Department, as needed
  • Answer telephones and emails in a timely manner, direct phone calls to appropriate parties
  • Recruiting with scheduling of interviews, general onboarding activities, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

  • Individual must possess 2+ years’ general administrative/accounting background
  • Background should include Word processing, document control, preparation of spreadsheets, graphs and charts, desktop publishing, and presentation materials
  • Required skills:

    Word and Excel, excellent spelling and grammar, good phone skills, organizational skills, meets deadlines, able to multi‑task, carefully proofs own work
Requirements
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required
  • 1‑3+ years of experience in a high-volume customer service environment
  • 2+ years of administrative support experience, including document control, scheduling, and general office operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with strong typing and data entry skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including drafting, proofreading, and editing professional correspondence
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Dependable, punctual, and takes initiative, with a professional and customer service-oriented demeanor
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
