Position: 10110 Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly detail‑oriented and proactive Logistics Supervisor to oversee order management operations for Barcel USA. This role is responsible for supervising personnel, driving process optimization, and ensuring all inbound and outbound shipments are executed accurately and on time, in full compliance with Barcel USA policies and operational standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, a commitment to safety and compliance, and the ability to enhance operational efficiency within a fast‑paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain data integrity to ensure optimal order strategies; conduct analysis to validate system accuracy.
  • Ensure On Time In Full (OTIF) deliveries to customers by collaborating with transportation teams.
  • Oversee order management, including close follow‑up, planning, scheduling, and invoicing.
  • Investigate root causes of overstocks, out‑of‑stocks, and turnover opportunities; implement corrective action plans.
  • Manage the order process flow in accordance with company policies.
  • Match supply with demand by working closely with supply planning and CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) teams.
  • Provide daily and weekly feedback on back‑ordered items as required.
  • Prioritize inbound purchase orders; make necessary changes to accommodate demand shifts and ensure timely, complete product arrivals. Influence shipments to avoid partial orders by offering overstocked or at‑risk products.
  • Conduct weekly inventory reconciliations, maintaining discrepancies under a 2% threshold versus inventory value, and resolve issues as needed.
  • Perform monthly inventory reconciliations for accounting purposes, keeping discrepancies under a 2% threshold and resolving any issues.
  • Track shipping information accurately using the shipping tracker to provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain and balance inventory levels at the Coppell Distribution Center to maximize sales, optimize product rotation, and achieve profit goals.
  • Maintain adequate safety stock levels.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain departmental and individual goals and performance measures.
  • Make operational‑level capacity decisions as needed.
  • Organize, lead, motivate, and care for all personnel involved in logistics operations.
  • Exhibit high motivation, customer focus, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Develop, communicate, and execute detailed work plans to support operational improvements.

Responsibilities are subject to change at the Manager’s discretion.

Qualifications Education/Experience/Knowledge
  • Oracle is a plus.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
  • 2‑4 years of experience.
  • Cross functional capable (Finance, Marketing, Manufacturing, Sales, Exports, etc).
  • People‑Leadership skills.
  • Capable to manage people.
  • Capable to perform under pressure.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize.
  • Must be able to multitask.
