As an Estimator supporting our Dallas area division, you’ll prepare quotes and budgetary guidelines. The Estimator also collaborates with the creative team to perform ballpark estimates on creative design. This position is an important role within the Estimating Department, and comes with unique and exciting challenges. Candidates must have working knowledge of the experiential marketing industry, and a willingness to jump into our fast‑paced projects.

- Collaborate with the design team and perform ballpark estimates to aid creative with concept development budgets.
- Use established estimating templates, corporate operations yearly set rates and mark‑up and Master Service Agreement (MSA) client specific set rates and mark‑ups as communicated.
- Daily review online estimate schedule / calendar, meet established estimate due dates, update estimate schedule / calendar.
- Participate in put‑to‑detail meetings.
- Maintain estimating records per Derse policy and procedures including but not limited to standardized physical files and all digital documentation placed in the appropriate client folders on the network.
- Use preferred vendor program.
- Prepare quote proposals based on labor, material, and subcontracted costs.

- Regional Programs
- Prepare budgetary guideline proposals based on labor, material, subcontracted costs, and published Exhibitor Service Manual information.
- The intended use of Budgetary Guides are:
- Show Services / Transportation / I&D
- Production service work
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree and/or 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience working within live event & trade show industry required.
- Ability to read & accurately interpret sketches and blueprints.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word & Excel.
