Operations Manager
Position Summary
TRAIL (Tools Required for Advancement Into Leadership) is a 12‑month rotational leadership‑development program designed specifically for recent college graduates. TRAIL Operations Specialists are full‑time employees earning a competitive salary with benefits while receiving hands‑on experience and mentorship. The program focuses on building a foundation in process improvement, presentation, and leadership skills.
The Servicing Operations TRAIL Operations Specialist will be immersed in one of the following areas:
- Operational Controls
- Loan Transfers and Advance Management
- Servicing Analytics
The TRAIL Rising Leaders Program is set to begin July 2026.
Duties and Responsibilities- Perform assigned duties under direction of experienced personnel to gain knowledge and experience required for promotion to a management position; responsibilities include decisioning in real‑world account management scenarios.
- Conduct business analyses and provide recommendations to leadership for business and process changes.
- Receive training and perform duties in several functions to learn line and staff functions, management viewpoints, company policies, and best practices.
- Observe experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for departmental duties.
- Champion the Process Improvement discipline within the organization and implement the steps and tools necessary to complete projects.
- Attend company‑sponsored training classes and obtain certain certifications.
- Perform related duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Excel in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment while contributing to the creation, design, and implementation of value‑add business strategies.
- Clearly articulate and present ideas and findings to a varied audience, including operations staff and senior leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong business communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
- Strong attention to detail; ability to multi‑task, respond well to pressure and deadlines, and work well individually and collaboratively.
- Experience with PowerPoint and Visio is a plus.
- Ability to adapt and willingness to learn.
