Claims Compliance Analyst

Job Summary

The Compliance Analyst supports the Compliance Team to establish and maintain industry best practices and provide regulatory compliance support to business units. Responsible for receiving, reviewing, logging, and dispatching consumer complaints from the Departments of Insurance and other regulatory agencies. Works closely with business units to ensure timely and compliant responses to consumers and regulatory agencies and accurate record keeping. Supports the organizational goal of delivering legendary service by providing timely and actionable reporting related to the nature and drivers of regulated consumer complaints.

• Receive, review, log and dispatch consumer complaints from regulatory agencies.
• Timely upload complaint responses to applicable regulatory agencies.
• Act as centralized point of contact for business units and enterprise leadership for regulated complaint inquiries.
• Assist business with drafting and compliant completion of complaint responses.
• Maintain key reports and metrics of complaint management.
• Help determine the need for new and revised business policies and procedures for complaint management.
• Aid in building and documenting policy and procedures; assist in implementation.
• Proactively drive and support delivery of appropriate training and communication related to complaint management.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 4–6 years in compliance, business, insurance, risk management, and/or audit.
• Verbal and written communication skills at all levels across the organization (Medium proficiency).
• Ability to interact effectively at different levels and with different audiences, both internal and external (Medium proficiency).
• Strong research and analytical skills (Medium proficiency).
• Ability to analyze and interpret federal and state regulatory documentation (Medium proficiency).
• Knowledge of insurance products, laws, and services preferred (Medium proficiency).Solid organizational skills (Medium proficiency).
• Teamwork and alliance building; builds and maintains successful relationships within the company and with external contacts (Medium proficiency).
• Self‑management; takes responsibility for decisions and actions, manages own work, and prioritizes based on regulatory/operating risk and business needs (Medium proficiency).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access) (Medium proficiency).
• Ability and desire to learn other technology (Medium proficiency).
