Job Summary

The Construction Manager is responsible for leading the execution of new restaurant construction projects across assigned locations, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in alignment with brand standards. This role oversees contractors, vendors, and project timelines while partnering cross-functionally with Real Estate, Design, Facilities, and Operations to drive seamless project execution from pre-construction through opening.

The Construction Manager ensures compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies, while proactively identifying risks and implementing solutions to maintain project progress. This role plays a critical part in supporting the successful development and expansion of new restaurant locations.

This role is based in Dallas (Coppell), TX and follows a hybrid schedule (3 days in office). We are currently focused on local candidates or those open to relocating to the area at their own expense. At this time, we are unable to provide sponsorship support

What You’ll Do
  • Lead end-to-end execution of new restaurant construction projects from pre-construction through opening
  • Manage general contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones; proactively identify and mitigate risks
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Real Estate, Design, Facilities, and Operations to ensure seamless execution
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress, ensure quality standards, and verify adherence to plans and specifications
  • Review construction documents, scopes of work, and project plans for accuracy and completeness
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards
  • Resolve project issues efficiently to maintain timelines and minimize disruption
  • Maintain clear communication and reporting with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Support restaurant openings to ensure operational readiness and successful launch
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and permitting (including certificate of occupancy)
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
  • Drive continuous improvement in construction processes, focusing on efficiency, cost control, and quality
What You Bring to the Team
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Master’s a plus)
  • 4–7 years of experience managing ground-up or large-scale construction projects
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and timelines simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project management practices
  • Experience managing contractors, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships across internal teams and external partners
