Job Title:
Customer Relations Specialist

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Customer Relations Specialist to join our client to support the management of escalated customer cases and ensure a high quality service experience. In this role, you will guide consumers through complex concerns, provide clear communication throughout the life of each case, and work to turn challenging interactions into positive outcomes. This position requires strong organization, empathy, and the ability to work confidently in a fast paced, unscripted environment.

You will contribute to a department that handles a high volume of inquiries and offers internal growth opportunities across multiple customer support functions.
Compensation:
$23-$25/hour
Work Schedule:
37.5-hour work week
Mon-Thu: 10:00 a.m.

-6:30 p.m. CT
Fri: 7:30 a.m.

-4:00 p.m. CT Key Responsibilities of the Customer Relations Specialist:

• Manage a substantial caseload, overseeing each customer case from initial assignment through final resolution.

• Research, evaluate, and resolve escalated inquiries that require additional attention beyond frontline support.

• Deliver empathetic, proactive communication to customers in a non-scripted environment, even during emotionally charged conversations.

• Organize and prioritize daily workload, including reviewing new case assignments and moving open cases forward efficiently.

• Document findings, updates, and outcomes accurately to ensure timely and complete case closure. Qualifications and Skills for the Customer Relations Specialist:

• Background in customer service, retail, call center work, or any role involving conflict resolution and high touch communication.

• Strong time management abilities and comfort handling multiple tasks, deadlines, or cases simultaneously.

• Excellent active listening skills and the ability to think quickly to determine next steps or appropriate solutions.

• Comfortable delivering information professionally and clearly - even when outcomes may not meet customer expectations.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.; must meet all client eligibility requirements. Why Join Us?
