Architectural Tech II

Gray AES is looking to add an Architectural Tech II in our Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX, Fullerton, CA and Lexington, KY office.

• Prepares architectural plans as directed by design managers and assists design managers in construction administration activities.
• Assists with layout of project and integrates engineering elements into unified design for customer review and approval.
• Prepares scale drawings and contract documents for customers, construction personnel, sub-consultants, and design-build subcontractors.
• May assist design managers in administration, review, and coordination of project submittals.
• May periodically assist design managers in conducting on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans.
• Prepares studies and reports.
• Prepares project designs and plans using computer assisted design software and equipment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a degree from a technical college and 2 to 5 years of experience; or the equivalent combination both.
• Experience designing in Revit is highly preferred and experience producing architectural drawings is required.
• Basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheets, design software and e-mail.
• Physically present in a Gray office.
