JOB SCOPE & DESCRIPTIONThe job is responsible for providing manufacturing support through process monitoring and daily roving inspection of process & equipment to ensure defect free set ups.
The position is responsible for the initial validation of problematic lots in reference to known standards such as POA/POD, process mapping, tooling documentation, Local and Corporate specifications. This position also supports engineering evaluations, and simulations related to process validations, customer complaints, material and equipment qualifications.
The job requires multi-tasking skills in order to support both test and finish operations at an unprecedented 24/7 operation.

ACCOUNTABILITIES 1- ON LINE PROCESS MONITORING & INSPECTION
- Performs inspection of set ups by conducting process analysis and visual inspection of production lots.
- Performs random inspection of set ups and issues Lots Event Management System (LEMS) documents for any detected discrepancies.
- Provides daily assistance in line sustaining through the initial validation of suspected problematic lots from Assembly or subcontractors in conformance to local and corporate standards.
- Conducts backtracking of suspected lots with issue, inform inducing station for immediate correction and advise warehouse personnel when quality hold is required.
- Assists in the analysis of invalid electrical over rejection caused by dirty or contaminated lots. Performs dimensional measurements of Final Test conversion kit prior to issuance of MRB.
- Performs minor equipment vision system optimization with respect to variations in production lot in aid of improving process yield performance.
- Performs analysis of possible mixing simulations, quantity mapping, review of process summary, equipment data and the immediate gathering of facts from production personnel concerned.
- Generates report of relevant findings in aid of further engineering discussions and improvement.
- Provides engineering assistance in data gathering, defect characterization, and submission of samples for failure analysis (SEM/EDX, SCAT, X-RAY) of evaluation lots or improvement activities.
- Supports engineering qualification such as data gathering during Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GRR) of equipment.
- Supports engineering activities such as peel tape test of new cover tape delivery, validation of assembly improvements and action items, monitoring of Initial Production Management (IPM) lots.
- Prepares daily shift reports, daily monitoring of First Scran Yield, weekly and overall Process Yield reports.
- Performs documentation updates related to Equipment/Process performance within the shift.
- Complies with rules and regulations on safety, health, environment, good housekeeping, and security in the area of responsibility to ensure that applicable rules and regulations are understood and implemented.
