YOUR ROLE TECHNICAL DATA STANDARDS- Conducts time studies in manufacturing areas to establish Units per Hour (UPH) per station per package and per device.
- Establishes UPH for new packages through parametric capacity simulations as needed in RFQ and IEDB as well as capacity planning, CAR creation.
- Validates and checks UPH standards regularly
- Checks actual machine utilization and recommend actions for improvement
- Establishes processing time including post operation and pre-operation time for existing packages
- Drive equipment parameter optimization and standardization-Works with equipment /process owners for the parameter optimization
- Provides monthly report of Ramp-Up and Bamboo Chart
- Consolidate quarterly report of machine allocation and requirement
- Provides capacity simulation and technical standards for new packages that will be encoded in IEDB
- Monitors MAMA form approval
- Drive automation of the reports
- Provides Inputs on technical standards and inventory in IEDB
- Updates processing time, including pre and post operations time, parameter changes
- Determines & establishes layout standards to have efficient and effective material, process, people, and product flow
- Creates a layout plan in coordination with facilities and purchasing that would effectively carry out projected activities at minimal costs and use of resources Assesses, proposes and implements workable and feasible layout options to ensure space readiness for new product /process investments by closely coordinating with NPI or project teams.
- Establishes appropriate materials handling process for the plant
- Makes and introduces improvements/changes in the technical and organizational systems and procedures of the plant
- Assesses, plans, recommends and organizes plant capacity/equipment allocation per floor
- Assesses, proposes, and implements workplace simplification
Education:
- With a degree in Industrial Engineering
- With at least 2-3 year relevant working experience
- Must be knowledgeable on products and processes
- Must have the skills on technical standards computation
- Must have an effective working to work functional with various groups of the organization.
- Must have above average computer skills.
