We are seeking an experienced Senior RF Optimization Engineer with strong current T-Mobile and Nokia experience to support wireless network optimization projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in LTE, VoLTE, and 5G RF optimization, along with hands‑on experience optimizing live commercial networks.
Required Qualifications- Current hands‑on experience supporting networks using Nokia equipment (

). - Minimum 10 years of RF Optimization experience in LTE, VoLTE, and 5G
. - Minimum 2 years of hands‑on 5G Optimization experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of offer acceptance.
- Must be available to travel as needed (travel is expected to be minimal and requires prior approval).
- Strong experience with:
- 5G Sub‑6 Optimization
- DSS Optimization
- mmWave
- VoNR
- NSA and SA architectures
- Experience with multi‑layer cluster optimization across 5G, LTE, and UMTS
. - Perform RF performance optimization activities independently.
- Analyze KPIs, identify network issues, and implement performance improvements.
- Tune LTE/5G radio network parameters and deploy optimization features.
- Experience with network performance monitoring, trending, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of:
- KPI and OPI counters
- Throughput optimization
- Handover optimization
- Capacity management
- Admission control
- Experience with Nokia tools including:
- CM Editor
- Experience performing trace analysis and using drive test tools such as:
- TEMS
- Nemo
- XCAL
- Windcatcher
- Falcon Smart
- Experience with T‑Mobile tools including:
- One Data
- True Call
- Actix One
- Atoll
- Asset
- IMNOS
- RFDS
- Hands‑on knowledge of Nokia TDD/FDD parameters.
- RF Layer 3 analysis using Actix or similar tools.
- Experience troubleshooting eNB/gNB/RRH issues, executing XLM plans, resolving RSSI issues, monitoring alarms, and performing site health checks.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline preferred.
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant RF Optimization experience will also be considered.
