Overview
Job Summary The Wealth Strategist at Parallel Advisors is an associate level role joining a fast-growing Registered Investment Advisory firm with a culture of entrepreneurship, education, and collaboration. As a Wealth Strategist, you will work closely with your Manager and team to support current clients and prospects through administrative and technical assistance work. A Wealth Strategist will be exposed to a fast-paced work environment and work alongside experienced advisors with a wide range of expertise.
Parallel Advisors fosters a collaborative culture, which will allow you to learn and get exposure to many different aspects of financial planning and investment management processes. This is a hybrid (in-office 3x/week) position and will be based in either our Scottsdale or Dallas office.
- Act as liaison with existing clients to schedule and coordinate client meetings on a regular basis.
- Coordinate action items gathered from client interactions to improve the client experience and efficiency within the team.
- Gather information from clients and enter portfolio data into spreadsheets and update entries using our financial planning tool (Money Guide Pro).
- Help gather and distribute client information to outside professionals such as CPAs, bookkeepers, or estate planning attorneys on a regular basis.
- Assist in organizing work papers, scanning and uploading documents, onboarding new clients, and maintaining existing client records in our CRM system (we use Salesforce).
- Work cross-functionally and collaboratively within the team to identify and delegate ad hoc client requests to appropriate team members.
- Work closely with advisors to assist in researching and presenting custom client projects and analysis.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to manipulate data via Excel (Formulas, VLookup, Pivot Tables, etc).
- Capability to manage multiple demands and competing priorities.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Financial services or bookkeeping experience a plus.
