Part-Time Financial Reporting Specialist

Hours per Week: 20–25 (approximately 5 hours per day) Preferred Office

09:00 AM to 02:00 PM (not fixed yet)

Position Overview:

This part-time role is responsible for executing recurring reporting and data management tasks. The position requires strong financial reporting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and process the receipt of financial statements, including coordinating with members regarding missing or late reports, saving documents in appropriate repositories, facilitating extensions/waivers, and processing late-reporting fines.
• Accurately enter financial data into the Automated Financial Reporting System (AFRS) and track items through approval and workflow closure.
• Oversee the production and review of daily surveillance emails, ensuring timely follow-up on negative news, missing reports, account changes, and other action items.
• Perform daily reviews to identify and address items requiring same-day resolution.
• Reconcile reporting trackers to maintain accurate and up-to-date reports.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Required Background &

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting components (e.g., Income Statements, Balance Sheets).
• Familiarity with credit and financial statement analysis for financial institutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized with the ability to work independently.
